Overview

Overview:
We host the Arch City Bonspiel at our home arena, the Creve Coeur Ice Arena, in the suburbs of St. Louis, MO. The spiel usually takes place on the Friday/Saturday/Sunday of Labor Day weekend. This is an open bonspiel typically with a maximum of 16 teams, a 3-game guarantee, and 3 or 4 events. (This may vary from year to year). The championship games usually end by late afternoon on Sunday.

Beer Brats Brooms:
Like all good bonspiels a certain amount of libation is usually in order. We pay homage to the German heritage of this region in serving fine German bratwursts and the brooms are what we will stake when we finish our games early on Saturday evening to engage in a Bar Crawl.

Bar Crawl:
St. Louis is the home to Anheuser-Busch, one of the world's largest breweries. But did you know that St. Louis is has a very large and diverse craft brewery scene? The games will end early on Saturday evening so that participants can partake in a bar crawl of two local craft breweries. This is a fantastic way for participants to extend the broom stacking and experience a couple of the smaller breweries in St. Louis.
