America’s Pastime Sports in Albuquerque is the premier indoor batting cages and baseball/softball training facility in New Mexico. Whether you are looking for recreational fun or are serious about developing skills, America’s Pastime Sports is the place to go!
America’s Pastime Sports is located at 5310 Oakland Ave NE—about a block north of the intersection of San Mateo and Alameda, just west of I-25. Our 8,000 sq. ft. facility is well-lit and provides ample space for indoor batting cages.
Our indoor batting cages are equipped with state-of-the-art pitching machines that handle multiple pitching speeds, including slow- and fast-pitch softball. Our 70′ tunnels are also equipped with a pitcher’s mound to give pitchers a place to practice, and these cages can be combined into one large area for defensive skills work, speed and agility training or warming up for your upcoming practice. The flexibility of our space makes America’s Pastime Sports the ideal team training facility whether it’s during the off-season or staying in mid-season form for club/travel teams!

At America’s Pastime Sports, we know that baseball or softball knowledge isn’t enough to make a good coach. We also know that coaching youth baseball or softball cannot be approached the same way as coaching high school players hoping to receive a scholarship. So, our instructor staff is a team of friendly, knowledgeable coaches who have experience working with different age groups and who specialize in specific skills.
America’s Pastime Sports is a great place to pass the time with batting cages for rent by pitch or by time. It’s also the perfect venue for travel team practice and off-season skill development. Our pitching machines and house gear accommodate baseball and softball players from about six years old and up, and our coaching staff has the experience to help Youth players all the way to developing professionals.
